Better Preparedness Through Stronger Partnerships
Hurricane preparedness is bigger than any one website, company, or organization.
At Hurricane Bug Out, we work with brands, organizations, creators, and community partners that can help people prepare earlier, evacuate smarter, and recover more safely.
The goal is simple: bring useful people, products, expertise, and resources together before they are needed.

Who We Partner With
We are interested in building relationships across the preparedness ecosystem, including:
- Emergency preparedness and survival gear companies
- Power, battery, solar, and backup energy brands
- Vehicle, automotive, and overlanding companies
- Outdoor and adventure brands
- Communications and navigation technology companies
- Weather and mapping platforms
- Medical and first-aid companies
- Pet preparedness brands
- Florida businesses and organizations
- Hotels, travel, and evacuation-related services
- Nonprofits and community organizations
- Emergency management and public-safety organizations
- Content creators and subject-matter experts
Not every partnership needs to look the same. The important part is that it provides real value to people preparing for hurricanes.
What We Can Build Together
Hurricane Bug Out partnerships can take many forms depending on the organization and the needs of our audience.
Product Testing & Field Reviews
We can evaluate preparedness products in practical situations involving hurricane preparation, evacuation, vehicle readiness, extended outages, and post-storm recovery.
The objective is not simply to showcase gear. It is to help people understand what works, where it works, and whether they actually need it.
Educational Content
Partners can contribute expertise to:
- Preparedness guides
- How-to videos
- Hurricane checklists
- Gear demonstrations
- Evacuation planning resources
- Interviews
- Expert Q&As
- Training content
Good partnerships help us create resources that are more useful than either organization could create alone.
Evacuation & Travel Projects
Our planned evacuation and travel content creates opportunities to work with organizations involved in transportation, lodging, fuel, navigation, communications, vehicle equipment, food, and other resources people depend on while evacuating.
These collaborations can connect products and services to real-world hurricane evacuation scenarios rather than generic advertising.
Community Preparedness
Some of the most important partnerships may happen at the local level.
We want to work with businesses, nonprofits, emergency organizations, volunteers, and community groups on projects that encourage people to prepare before hurricane warnings begin.
Our Partnership Standard
Audience trust comes first.
A partnership does not automatically mean a recommendation.
Products and services featured by Hurricane Bug Out should earn their place through usefulness, reliability, relevance, or demonstrated value. Sponsored relationships should also be clearly identified when appropriate.
We would rather recommend fewer things we believe in than fill the site with products simply because someone paid for exposure.
That principle will remain important as Hurricane Bug Out grows.
Why Partner With Hurricane Bug Out?
Hurricane Bug Out is being built around the entire hurricane experience:
Prepare → Evacuate → Recover
That gives partners opportunities to participate in educational articles, videos, field testing, travel and evacuation content, product demonstrations, community projects, social media, and long-term preparedness resources.
More importantly, it provides an opportunity to reach people while they are actively trying to solve real preparedness problems.
Current Partners
As official Hurricane Bug Out partners are added, they will be featured here along with information about who they are, what they provide, and why we chose to work with them.
Interested in Becoming a Partner?
If your company or organization shares our commitment to practical preparedness, resilience, education, and community, we would like to hear from you.
We are open to conversations involving:
- Sponsorships
- Product testing and reviews
- Gear partnerships
- Content collaborations
- Educational projects
- Community initiatives
- Travel and evacuation projects
- Brand integrations
- Events and training
- Long-term strategic partnerships
The best partnerships should accomplish more than generating exposure. They should help someone become better prepared for the next storm.
